FEAR ~ False Evidence Appearing Real What if fear wasn't real? Okay, okay before you throw your keyboard, phone or other costly electronic device at me, let me explain. I'm suggesting that the way through fear, with something you don't choose to have in your life anymore and is only holding you back, is to walk through it. Easier said than done right? Maybe not, actually you tell me. Was there ever something you were just so fearful about and then after much trepidation you went ahead anyway and just did it? Did you look back and wonder how you could have possibly been so fearful?
See, fear and excitement are actually very close to the same energetic vibration and many times we confuse the two. Were you a kid about to do something amazing that you were so excited about and a well meaning adult came over and said "don't be scared" or "you're just scared, its okay". Some people have connected the two this way and from then on rarely felt excitement and always thinking instead that they are feeling anxious and fearful. When was the last time you got excited about something? I mean REALLY excited about something. |
Imagine standing up in front of a crowd and you are about to speak for the first time on a topic that is near and dear to your heart that you know you are just a genius on. Can you feel your heart racing, light-headed, tongue-tied? What if this were your utmost excitement at you showing up as you and engaging this entire crowd and even dazzling them with your knowledge?
How about before a date, do you go into so-called fear? Could that just be the excitement you are feeling with this person you are about to connect to?

Maybe we are all born with this innate knowing and if we learn to tap into that instead we wouldn't have a need for fear in our lives anymore. Most of us use fear in our lives to warn ourselves, to stop ourselves from doing something crazy. What if you already had this sense, this inner knowing if something is the right thing to do or not? Try this, close your eyes and think of one of the dreams you have but have been too fearful or have one reason or another to stop you from creating it. Does it feel light or heavy to you? If its light, ask "is now the time to begin this and think about it creating it?". Does it feel light or heavy? Light is usually a YES and heavy a NO. This light or heavy feeling is only the tip of the iceberg of what we have access to. Would you be willing to give it a try and keep asking it questions, like "if not now when would you like to be created?", or "what's my next step here"? The more we practice this technique, even with small steps at first (like "what should I wear?" or "what does my body need right now?") you may be very surprised at what feels light to you at first. Go ahead and play with this Light/Heavy technique, it will get stronger and stronger until you are feeling totally tuned in to yourself and what you would like to create in your life. Imagine if you just kept following the light energy, where would it take you? Probably somewhere beyond your wildest dreams! |
